B met a fellow coming home off of a recent business trip who used to work with D. Todd Christofferson. They were lawyers together in Nashville back in '86. Bill and B had several hours to chat and when Bill found out my religious preference he asked if I knew Elder Christofferson. I said that I did not know him but knew of him, we ended up having a great conversation during which he said that back then "Todd" was a memorable fellow and was very honest and generally a good guy...who'da thought that?? Well Bill has a real nice little farm not far from our house so we went down on an afternoon to have a picnic and do a little cave exploration. There is a little hole out in the middle of his farm and when you climb down into what appears to be a small dip there is a dark cave opening hole there. There is a rickety ladder that goes down about 40' to a small pile of animal bones (no kidding) and a bunch of crickets 2-3" long. From their you walk back in the cave that is about 1-15 feet tall at this point....in the background you can hear the roar of
a waterfall, in the cave it is pretty defening by the time you get up to it and you h
ave to yell to communicate. You do have to waid through an underground river that is about thigh deep on me, and W and K1 were wet up to their waists. K was able get through the water not even wet to her knees by clinging and hanging on the wall like a cat when you try and stuff it in the toilette. We the climbed up the ledges that make up the waterfall and continue up through the cave. It was really amazing the cave went on for miles (nobody has explored to the end yet but they have walked 3 hours) but we went only about 1/4 of a mile in before we shut off the lights and took a look at total darkness, then we made our way out. It was a really fun time and the three kids that went down in there and Mom and Dad all ended up enjoying themselves aside from the big spider and the climb down into the hole.

K the kitty in the toilet made me laugh my head off!!! Oh, I miss you guys! That waterfall is gorgeous. I am so glad you came up with this brain child. Even if we are the only ones who pull and publish weeds on this mound it will be worth it to me! Love you guys!
